My name is Dorcas Asige Apoore, a twenty one year old, A level 200 student of the University for Development studies Wa. Am offering Bsc Development Planning and currently the founder and Executive Director Adocacy for Social Inclusion and Girls Education (ASIGE). we are in to mentoring, reseacrh, women economic empowerment, natural resource conservation , conflict resolution, youth participation in governance and policy making and a host of others. i believe in making a difference in the world i live. i thank GOD for giving me this opportunity and better team to help implement our diverse strategies to bring development and progress to humanity. other activities of ASIGE are:
Undertake participatory research and base line survey into causes of poverty and other relevant and life challenging researchies
Facilitate income generation activities through training in vocational skills, small scale business management, and promoting savings culture
Facilitate the development and implementation of self-help community-based and poverty alleviation projects.
Organize workshops, motivational seminars for rural youth especially girls on reproductive health and formal education
Instituting scholarship and educational packages for brilliant but needy students especially girls
Undertake consultancy services especially base line surveys, and income generation for rural communities.
Identify and send back to school girls that have dropped out of school and are in the streets as well as provide basic school materials for these girls.
